Glenn Maxwell and Saurabh Netravalkar spearheaded a ruthless bowling performance as Washington Freedom crushed Seattle Orcas by eight wickets in a one-sided Major League Cricket (MLC) 2025 encounter. Orcas were bundled out for just 82, and Freedom chased it down in a mere 9.2 overs to climb to second on the points table.

Opting to bowl first after winning the toss, Freedom made an instant impact. Netravalkar struck with the very first ball of the match, dismissing Shayan Jahangir. Maxwell then took charge inside the powerplay, removing Aaron Jones, Steven Taylor, and Kyle Mayers in quick succession.
